The IHA CARES Foundation has been created to better support local projects that address healthcare needs in our communities. Our charitable purposes are outlined below. An outstanding Board of Directors has been appointed to lead this organization.

 

The IHA CARES Foundation is tax exempt under section of 501 (c) (3) of the IRS codes. This means that all your contributions will be fully tax deductible.

 

Giving to The IHA CARES Foundation may be accomplished in many ways as outlined on our Donations page.

IHA Cares Foundation Purpose

The following activities outline The IHA CARES Foundation’s purposes. All activities are to be charitable in nature and offered without charge. All activities will be performed in our southeastern Michigan service area.

• Provide education and promote behaviors to decrease life style related health problems in our community, thus positively impacting quality of life while mitigating unnecessary health care expenditures.

• Offer extensive education programs to the community through health promotion, prevention, and wellness initiatives.

• Support other area not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organizations with similar community enhancement, health promotion and wellness missions.

• Promote access to health services for uninsured or under insured populations, particularly those at greatest risk.

• Respond as the need arises to other initiatives consistent with our non-profit charter.

The Foundation has recevied our tax exempt 501 (c) (3) status from the IRS; We are now in the process of orgnizing our fund raising initiatives in order to support our vital purposes.
