IHA Maternal Fetal Medicine is dedicated to treating women with high risk pregnancies to provide a healthy life for mothers and babies. Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, also called perinatologists, are obstetricians who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of expectant mothers and their developing babies, who may be at high risk for special health problems.
Women are generally referred to a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist by their obstetrician or by an infertility specialist because he or she sees a potential for a pregnancy-related health concern or because a problem develops during the course of the pregnancy.
In most cases, you will continue care with your current prenatal care provider and the team at MFM will work hand-in-hand with them to develop a plan of care tailored to your personal needs and medical history. However, if it is best to transfer your maternity care to our office we will be pleased to partner with you for your prenatal care and promptly communicate to your referring provider all test results and recommendations.

We look forward to caring for you and your baby.
