Mental Health

IHA offers Mental Health Services at its Child Health Associates, Ann Arbor location. These services provide assistance to parents dealing with their children’s psychological development or behavioral problems, as well as dealing with stressful events in their child’s life such as the birth of a sibling, illness, death in the family, starting or changing schools, and also divorce or remarriage. Families overall can benefit from these services during stressful times when the situations impact the entire family. Lastly, parents can utilize mental health services concerning every day issues in parenting their individual children.

Mental Health Services are provided by Emily Miller, LMSW, ACSW. Mrs. Miller is a Board Certified Diplomat in clinical social work as well as a licensed marriage and family therapist. She has been working with children, adolescents and their families for over thirty-six years.

Mrs. Miller’s goal is to empower children and their families to appreciate and cope with developmental issues and challenges that contribute to healthy family growth
