What is Podiatry
A podiatrist is a physician who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. Podiatrists complete four years of podiatric medical school, and an additional three years of residency training.
Podiatrists also provide custom orthotics (shoe inserts) that improve a person’s comfort and offer extra cushioning and support for feet and ankles.
